The description states:

Copy of application shows that Philipus Jacobus du Plessis was a Heliografis Adjudant Staff Heilbron Kommando. Fought from the beginning “in Oct 1899 tot die einde Mei 1900” Fought with General Serfontein, General Wessels. Fought with the Heidelberg Kommando in all their battles.
