My great grandfather served in the British forces (from Wales I understand) and was awarded the QSA with the bars "Transvaal" "Driefontein" "Paardeberg" and "Relief of Kimberley" His name was Pte J W Pinkhard and he served under the Buffs E.K. REGt. His force number was apparently 4528. Can anyone help me with more information as I cannot find his details on the site. His name comes back with "no result" and his force number gives that of another soldier that died. I am not sure if he was killed in the war but believe that he did survive. Any help will be appreciated.
