Can someone please advise me if soldiers who served with French's Scouts qualified for the KSA with both SA 1901 and 1902 clasps?

There is a KSA roll for French's Scout but it lists only 9 names.

I had a look at the KSA medal roll for French's Scouts.
There were 4 papers which only equated to 8 men. Notes and erased entries, previous single date clasps were mentioned. So, In my humble opinion the majority of the regiment did not receive a Kings South Africa medal.
