Hi everyone, I have this silver Cape Colony National Rifle Association Challenge Shield (Birmingham 1906) and have no idea what it is worth. I'd really appreciate your help in valuing this shield as it is for sale.

Although valuing items for sale is beyond the remit of this Forum, it would be nice to see a picture of what you are referring to. Try to reduce the pixels of the photo and upload it to your post.

Additionally, as you will know from your chosen name, 1906 is not the Boer War.

My guess is something south of £50.
Selling it on ebay will reveal its True Value.

I also have one of these, purchased many many years ago so do not have a value also dated 1906......

There is a small plaque on the reverse stating "WESTERN BRANCH - 1906 - TRANSVAAL TEAM".......

There is one on Echo Bay right now for 95 Pounds dated 1939........ Item number:285788015296
