Hi Guys

Further to Adrians posting regards the KZN Archives, here is an example of the ABO Rebel Register for Natal, there are 409 names in it with various sentences , included are a number of black guys, suspect these would have been the chaps who served with the Boers as their "batman" for want of a better word.

Maybe Henk will know if these sentences were ever carried out to there full extent?

Would this have been the basis to the Taffy Shearing book which I believe lists the rebels?

Not sure, but he must have got his info from a similar source. This is for Natal so there might/must have been another for the Cape Province?

I wonder if there were another two for the Boer Republics listing the British Subjects who fought for the Boers? Now that would be interesting!
