Hello again David,

I have another family photo that was given to me recently.
The gentleman sitting down is believed to be John Thomas Gribbin born in 1875 Whitehaven. I am led to believe that he may have also fought in the second Boer War. In the photo it appears that he is a corporal, wearing a slouch hat that may be indicative to the issued uniforms of the time period. I came across a J.T Gribbin in the medal & award rolls on ancestry.
