Attested 3rd July 1898, into the 74th bty.,Royal Field Artillery.
He served in India from 23 Feb 99 - 16 April 00.
Then he was home from 17 Apr 00 - 19 March 01.
Discharged 19 March 01 medically unfit, Tubercle of the lung.
Died at Netley 8 Feb 1902 Tubercle of the lung.
