Knapdaar is a farm and is located in Pixley ka Seme District Municipality, Northern Cape, South Africa.

Niekerkshoop is a town in Pixley ka Seme District Municipality in the Northern Cape province of South Africa.

Village and asbestos mining centre 80 kilometres  south of Griquatown and 40 kilometres  north of Prieska. It was laid out on the farm Modderfontein in 1902 and has been administered by a village management board since 1904. Named after the owners of the farm, brothers named Van Niekerk.

Thanks for your effort - Knapdaar fits as the name of the farm, especially as Van Niekerk came from Boshof in the Orange Free State, the district where one of the Knapdaar's are to be found.

What remains is to determine the rest of the address - in Afrikaans/Dutch "P.K." means Post Office and, on another forum where I posed the question, it has been suggested that the second word is "Stasie" - Afrikaans/Dutch for Station. We are narrowing it down but the first word after "P.K." is proving troublesome.

I was way off the mark, sorry for confusion. Many thanks for explaining the P K & Statsie, much appreciated.
The word after P K Is proving difficult for sure. The S of the Statsie seems to be looping back and crosses what look like 2 L. Would you agree the 1st four letters are Coul?

Can we see more of his Vorm B to get clues as to how he writes and whether Coul... is phonetic?
Sometimes there's an envelope or a covering letter etc too.
(On one on my Vorm Bs I was struggling with a battle called Laidjie Smuts until I realised it was Ladysmith)
