Dave, that's good stuff!
Based on that, I think the "unknown soldier" of the Queen's is most likely to be Private 3209 William Hands.
I'll let the landowner know.
Here's a photo of his resting place, it is a hollow in the veld; he was disinterred and moved to Rangeworthy Military Cemetery or Spearman's Military Cemetery in the 1960s.
